Somit können die Laufwerke auch dann angebunden werden, wenn das Netzteil nicht über die notwendige Anschlussanzahl verfügt. Alternativ kann der Adapter die Nutzung zusätzlicher Netzteilkabel sparen, womit weniger Strippen gezogen und verlegt werden müssen. Dies ermöglicht eine saubere Optik und reduziert Luftverwirbelungen.
